I think the book "The Picture of Dorian Gray" talks about Dorian who sells his soul to the devil to remain forever young an beutiful. So then he has to pay the consequences.

Dorian Gray is rich, young, handsome and innocent, so I think that his life is inside of a false world. Lord Henry is a cynical man that introduces him the idea of a world where the only value is beauty. Dorian doesn't want lose his beauty and his wish is too big ..... He's going to sell his soul, he isn't going to lose his beauty but his life will become something terrible.
